Acceptable Use Policy

Version v2026-07. This policy is part of the Terms of Service.

Your nodes are real machines on shared infrastructure. Use them for lawful development and compute work. The rules below keep the platform usable and safe for everyone.

Don't attack or abuse networks

No port scanning, spoofing, denial-of-service, intrusion attempts, or unsolicited bulk email (spam) from your nodes. Outbound SMTP (port 25) is blocked and network flows are logged; authenticated mail submission stays open for legitimate use.

Don't attack the platform or other tenants

Don't attempt to escape your container, escalate privileges, reach the host or another tenant's node, exhaust shared resources deliberately (fork bombs, resource abuse), or probe the control plane. These are walled, and attempts are grounds for suspension.

No cryptocurrency mining

Don't mine cryptocurrency, and in particular don't mine on promotional or referral credit. Credits are for evaluating and building on the service.

Lawful use, sanctions, and export

Use the service only for lawful purposes. You may not use it in violation of applicable sanctions or export-control laws, or from a sanctioned jurisdiction, or for any end use those laws prohibit. You are responsible for your compliance.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy or endanger the service or other tenants, with notice where practical. Report abuse to abuse@givemeanode.com.
